Size Chart for the 18th Century Men's Shirts

The "fits best...." recommendation for the overshirts is calculated assuming that you will wear these shirts over your other clothes. We recommend 8" ease for the shirts circumference and 10" for the overshirts; 1" ease for the collar and 1.5" for the overshirts; 0.5" for the cuffs and 0.75 for the overshirts

Regular Shirts Size Chart

The XX-Large Shirt has:

  • 20.5" buttoned collar - fits best neck size 19.5"  (giving you 1" for ease/room in the collar which is standard for dress up shirts)
  • 32" wide body pieces
  • shirt circumference 64"- fits best 56" chest (giving you 8" in ease/room)
  • shirt length is 40"
  • sleeve length is 36" (measured from back of mid-neck to wrist)
  • 9.25" buttoned cuffs fit best 8.75" wrist (giving you a 0.5" in  ease/room)

The X-Large Shirt has:

  • 19.5" buttoned collar - fits best neck size 18.5  (giving you 1" for ease/room in the collar which is standard for dress up shirts)
  • 30" body pieces
  • shirt circumference 60" - fits best 52" chest (giving you 8" in ease/room)
  • shirt length 40"
  • sleeve length 35" (measured from back of mid-neck to wrist)
